Cadpress is a powerful tool used to simulate the compression modlingprocess of fiber reinforced thermoset composite parts. Cadpress is theculmination of over fifteen years of fundamental research into thecompression molding process and the behavior of fiber reinforcedthermoset composites. By understanding the complex phenomena that occurduring compression molding it is now possible to simulate the processwith a computer program. Cadpress is capable of calculating the moldfilling, pressure distribution, clamping force, fiber orientationdistribution, anisotropic material behavior, curing kinetics, thermalhistory, residual stress, and resulting shrinkage and warpage of thecompression modling process.
